Vinyl Is Back!

 Remember when you would get out your old Kiss, Journey, Aretha Franklin or Neil Diamond records , or whatever you were into at the time? You would play your favorite Lp on the old Hi-Fi or stereo system.Then you would lay back and just listen to those awesome sounds. Those were the days for sure! Many years have passed and we progressed to cds and then digital downloads. However, vinyl is making a comeback. Even the youth of today are discovering vinyl Lps for the first time. You can find newly released vinyl reissues where music is sold. Many people still go to old record shops, flea markets or find some of their favorite records stashed away in a dusty corner of the local 5 and dime.You can find many of them for just a few dollars.  It brings back memories for sure. So if you are finding these records in various places you may not have anything to play them on.   1. Oh I remember this! I remember the smell vinyl records had, how you could actually read the credits on the album's jacket. How careful you were when you placed it on your turntable. I remember getting down eye level to hit the larger groove in front of your fave song with the needle. Luckily for us, we have a real record store right down the road from us. Thank goodness I have a turntable. And I am one of those people that believe music still sounds best on vinyl. Thanks, Gary, for posting all of this for folks! You Rock!
